Reporter, The Globe and Mail
As Brampton Correspondent for the Globe and Mail, I played a key role in the National Newspaper Award-nominated and Digital Publishing Award-nominated ‘L6P’ project, which looks at how COVID-19 exposed the inequities faced by the racialized immigrant communities in north-east Brampton.
I also worked for the Globe's 'Report on Business' section covering business and financial news. I was also a part of their Investigative Unit.
Reporter, Canadian Broadcasting Organization (CBC Ottawa)
I worked with CBC Ottawa as a cross-platform reporter and digital writer. I was a general assignment reporter, covering Ottawa city for radio, web and TV. Worked on stories of crime, culture and immigration.
